The MODBUS-modem is MODBUS master that gets information from connected MODBUS RTU devices over RS485 bus and sends to mapped server over GPRS.

For reliable data uploading to server, the modem sends data only if sufficient signal strength is available.

It also implements retry of data upload and packet based handshaking to make sure that every data packet is successfully delivered to the server.
